I see them twice a year since they live in a different state.

Her dad CONSTANTLY breaks my balls which gets old quick. What I do is let him take a few verbal shots at me, sort of lull him into thinking that I am going to take his bullshite then.... I blast back! After I check the cranky bastard, he calms down a bit. My guess is that he's a bully and when I verbally bitch slap him, it earns a twisted respect.

The mom is the NICEST person I have ever met. Seriously. I dislike most people, but this women I love.

Tell the old man that the more he acts like an ass, the more you give it to your wife in the ass.

I can smell the Beta on you from here.

Backhand that old fucker upside the head and tell him if he ever so much as raises his voice toward you or the mom again, you'll dissolve him in a 45 gallon barrel of acid.

HAHAHAHAHA

Like that man!

Dad's not heathly which makes him more nasty then he would be normally. Kind of like a wounded animal.

I let him take a few shots beacuse I love his daughter, but when he crosses the line, WHAM!

Remind him constantly that he's dying. Tell that miserable old fucker that you're going to spend your wife's inheritance on strippers and private schmoe sessions.

 ;D HAHAAA

He doesn't raise his voice, he does the negative/sarcastic bit 24/7 when I am around.

I fucking love that hurt look he gets on his face when I check him.

He run away from me and i showed him up to be the wanker he is...so since then about 24 years ago i am just an evil little bastard for my In-laws... yes they love me too Death. I also got my Father in-laws Favourite Daughter pregnant..sure he still holds it against me.. :D

Well, as I'm divorced they do not talk to me too much anymore.

However, I have it on pretty good authority that they miss me being with their daughter because she doesn't always make the best choices.

They are actually nicer to me since we split up.

Go figure.

the woman i married, her mother still hates me to this day, 7 years after peaceful divorce.hated me from day one.

told my ex wife infront of me"why you choosing this immigrant over that rich barber shop owner"

i replied back then, because the barber guy is a homo.

her father used to hate me, even expressed his feelings in a 4 pages letter to me,no joke, but since the divorce were very good friends.

I know what you mean my wife is German and my father in-law said to her behind my back.."why a British soldier? why not a nice german Boy"?..  ::) His other daughter married a Brit here too but later a really messy divorce...so i enjoyed that watching him suffer...

father is even more hilarious, his views on women are something like from the dark ages ;D

one time he seen an ex with heels on and asked me if i plan to let her drive the car if i get drunk, said but not with these heels, then said, no dont let a woman drive either way.

and guess what they both did ok with those views throughout life.

I'd drink beer and shoot guns with your dad.

tolerant. I did take the wifes old man out and ask his permission to marry his daughter, he thought a lot of that and I felt it was the right thing to do.

Amazing.  My inlaws are some of the best people I know, we live very close to them and I'm actually the one Always making my wife call them so we can hang out with them.  I'm much closer to my father in law and relate more to him than with my own father.

I like mine alot and they feel the same. I was tolerant of my ex FIL but we got along alright and liked my ex MIL. She still to this day tells me weird stuff like she loves me and wishes it would've worked out. I try to avoid talking to her much but seem to bump into her often picking up my daughter.

Has she gone down the road of burning coal?  Perhaps that would explain their new found affection for you.

Relationship was pretty bad at first but over the years it's gotten very good.  My wife came from a religious home with domineering parents who wanted to control every aspect of her life.

No... she hasn't... She just typically has picked douchebags since we split.

I've moved on big time, but it makes me laugh when her mom asks my mom "How's Tu doing? We miss seeing him."
