Post by: Shockwave on December 23, 2012, 05:15:28 PM
Who ya got?

I'm going against my better judgement and taking Seattle by a TD.

Harbaugh has Carrols number, I am biased and the Niners are my team but unless weather plays a similar factor (like last week against New England) I of course say Niners. Last time these two teams met though, it was a brutally physical game, and we had Smith at the helm. Now we an entirely different set of options available with Kaepernick behind center.

gotta give credit where its due = seahawks playing better than they have played all season.

if this seattle team plays this was in the playoffs they will win the superbowl.

that being said, niners have made a few costly mistakes and kaepernick started ok but the 2nd quarter he was a big pile of dogshit.

Yeah, I never imagined this would happen.
Wonder if Smith would have made any difference?
The whole team is playing like dogshit now...

yup. not really a single player who played well. horrible, horrible game for the niners. and season-best game for the seahawks.

i dont know how much of a difference smith would have made , probably 7-14 points,  but at this point i dont care. kaepernick has had his chance. he played pretty good for a couple weeks but no where near good enough to compensate for tonight.  alex smith is 24 of 25 ?? his last two starts. has the highest qb rating in the league. time for our numero uno to get back in the game.

(note = post made with over 10 minutes left in the game... plenty of time for things to turn around and for my post to look stupid hahah )

russell wilson only needs 1 more TD to be the best rookie QB of all time... fact ;D

Nah your post will stand up...Niners got blown out tonight.  Copernicus looked rattled from the start. he made some plays, he doesn't suck balls, but Harbaugh has shown he has no loyalty to his starting QB.  so if Big nose lays another egg next week he will be benched IMO.

with Justin Smith being out Niner's D isn't the same either

I don't think I would gauge kapernick on this game.  seattle is difficult to play at.  I kind of figured that the game would go this way.  In some ways I hope it plays out that seattle has to come to GB and we destroy them.

wow, alex smith is probably fighting his smirk on the sideline.

49ers were better with him at QB.   They're going thru growing pains now.  Kapernick will be a fine Qb eventually, but this season might be sunk.  Back into playoffs ans lose quickly.

seattle looks like a super bowl team, wow.  colin cowherd was right.  i hadnt seen them play since the one they stole with the fake refs against packers.

true... rain changes everything.  Pats don't lose that game last week on a dry day.  I dont think they lose 3 out of 10 times on a wet day.  Rain and 40 degrees makes any game a toss up.

Hard to remember seeing a team drop 150 points in three games     they seem to be a threat to win it all
