But even if Obama were dead serious, you will note that he is talking about well-trained and highly skilled marksmen. While I have no doubt that many gun owners (I don't know that I'd say most - that's up for debate) are highly skilled and safety conscious, not all are, something which should be plainly obvious by simply looking at gun mishap videos on youtube and the number of people who injure themselves or others accidentally.
