http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2202509/Loyal-dog-ran-away-home-dead-masters-grave--stayed-years.html

A faithful dog has refused to leave the side of his dead master's grave for six years, it was reported today.
German shepherd Capitan ran away from home after the death of Argentinian Miguel Guzman in 2006.
A week later Mr Guzman's family went to pay their respects and found the heartbroken pet sitting by his owner's grave, wailing

This movie is based on a true story of the same thing, the movie will reduce any grown man with half a heart to a wailing mess!

Yeah, thats a tough movie to watch, the missus brought it home one day and wanted to watch it "together", later when she went out to work I put it on, by the last scene I was blubbering like a little schoolgirl, I hid the fucking thing in the back of the wardbrobe (Its still there somewhere), the next
day she wanted to watch the DVD but somehow it had "mysteriously vanished" and was nowhere to be found. No way I could watch that movie with her.

There's also the Japanese original which is probably a lot better film.

Thanks Che and OneMoreRep, I love that dog more than any person in this world except my parents and believe me there have been times when
I wanted to strangle him, from digging up the entire garden in one afternoon to chewing my favourite shirt to shreds, terrorizing the ducks outside
the house and eating my dinner off of my plate when I had to take a call, we ve had our run ins over the years and he s needed a firm hand from
time to time but he loves me, I know that much.

It's just because you're running.

I think they're programmed go give chase.

I remember when I was in a town in Thailand after the floods there were packs of quite aggressive stray dogs roaming around but showing no interest to them and walking slow kept them at bay.

My friend wanted to run when one would come towards us but I told him if he does he will be immediately mauled by all of them....that stopped him haha

Nothing can beat the loyalty of a good dog, I got a jack russel puppy for christmad when I was 9 and it made my childhood. Was fiercly loyal and followed me and my mates everywhere, she even attacked an older lad who was bullying one of my mates. She lived 16 years and I will never know a friendship like it.
