For being an overall good recruiter and winning coach, Les sure seems to make a good deal of bonehead calls. Hill averaged 10 yds per carry going into the final 3 minutes of the game, but Les throws the ball for 3 and out, giving Clemson the ball back with 1:40 left on the clock. He goes conservative for a whole quarter with an 11 point lead, but opens it up when he needs to sit on the ball and run the clock.

I think les sometimes out-thinks himself. meaning; "they think I'm gonna keep attacking so I'll run run run, then les thinks that they think he's gonna keep running so he thinks NO I'll attack, hehehehe".
sometimes he may be to smart for his own good and gets himself in trouble.
