I consider myself socially liberal and comprehensive while Libertarian to the core.
The nanny state the democrats/ACLU want is upon us, extremely dangerous.
Libertarianism is the view that each person has the right to live his life in any way he chooses so long as he respects the equal rights of others. Libertarians defend each person's right to life, liberty, and property-rights that people have naturally, before governments are created. In the libertarian view, all human relationships should be voluntary; the only actions that should be forbidden by law are those that involve the initiation of force against those who have not themselves used force-actions like murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, and fraud.

Honest question since you and Alex have met in person. Has Alex23 seen your penis? What does he think of it and have you ever at anytime had sexual relations with alex at any point in time? How small is alex's penis?

two years when a whole lot of shit got done too!! and the vast majority of it was all pretty damn moderate! the health plan they passed was based on the Conservative Heritage Foundation plan and republican gobvernor mitt romneys health plaan from massachuettes. but that was 09-10, not 11-12.

I've never been that worried about our future as a nation. Having lived in a country where socialism ruined people's mind and turned them into self centered "the state owes me everything" socialists who can't accomplish anything in life, I know what it looks like when "gimme gimme" hits the fan for good. I'm afraid that there is no way back. When this happens, there will be no way back but retraction from talented resourceful people quickly followed by yet another civil war. I'm not exaggerating. I actually hope this happens; it's the only way to "clean" things up.
The best way to kill a man = pay him to be comfortable while doing nothing. Sounds familiar?

If I'm being completely open minded... I saw a healthcare bill and a stimulus... He "got" Bin Laden...
So... That's like 3 things he or his administration "did".
Is there something I'm missing?
Seriously... I'm not seeing much else.

i absolutely agree with the sentiment about demotivation to be productive and positive caused by government programs and policies..
dont think the answer is the republican party, however.

??? freedom for everyone is a downtrodden value ??? what exactly do you mean by "equal rights for everyone" ?? are you talking about entitlements?? i dont think anyone really calls those "rights"..

You seem like you're nearly a libertarian tbombz. I think your political opinions are changing a little bit. Keep up the good work.

I'll have you know that I have contacted and reported you to the Californian branch of the Democrat party, and you will be immediately and irrevocably removed from their roster and admitted to the nearest penal colony for immediate execution, for the committing multiple counts of the crime of blasphemy against your lord and savior, President elect for life (once hj.res.15 passes of course), Barack H. Obama.
You have been notified my friend.
-
Where did the other 3.98 years go?
Mainly playing "Oval office" Call of Duty: zero dark thirty edition, trying to catch up on what really happened during the operation planned, executed and secured by REPUBLICANS.
;D

Healthcare... What else?
stimulus, auto bailout, dodd-frank, healthcare, student loan forgiveness after 20 years of payments and income based repayment...

Amended to reflect the state of Law that will occur once hj.res.15 has passed, and we can finally bask in the glorious warm light that will be President Elect for Life Obama.

You are not really helping his cause too much... You realize this right?

My brother from another mother
“Anarchism, really stands for the liberation of the human mind from the dominion of religion; the liberation of the human body from the dominion of property; liberation from the shackles and restraint of government.”
Sounds libertarian to me.

I guess I'm referring to "No-one has the right to coerce or expect obedience from others except where necessary to protect the equal rights of others."

He always had it, well mentally. The kid is a diversity generator, not a conformity enforcer / commiter. An Athenian while most of us are Spartans (no homo).

that was his first two years. lots of big shit. getting healthcare reform alone is huge. whether you like it or hate it. american politicians have been trying to get some sort of universal coverage on the books for over a century. obama got it done, and he did so by using a plan devised by republicans for republicans. and he got the democrats to back it. thats a huge achievement. again, whether your like it or hate it. plus all the other stuff. like student loan forgiveness/repayment by income. thats gonna be huge for the economy going forward. and the auto bailout - saved an entire industry. dodd-frank = oversight over wall street?? whodda thunk that possible. anyways, not saying i agree with any of those policies.

So he worked for 2 years and that was it?

anarchism is the lack of a government which is authorized by open elections or otherwise and therefore a lack of all governmnet-backed theft and coercion - aka taxes and laws.
libertarians believe that mild theft and coercion are acceptable - in the name of the public defense. small taxes for military and police. thats about it. but still theft and coercion/taxes and laws. (theft=taxes, coercion=laws)
-
I believe the ideals are fairly similar.
I assumed that part; please explain further.

see my above post :) im sort of an expert :D

You could write an essay on the topic, but Liberationists want the same thing as Anarchists, they both complain about the excessive Interference from Government. Libertarians are generally open to some minimal governance whereby anarchists essentially want zero governance. Libertarian is a more friendly word; anarchist is generally perceived to be hostile. Libertarians are usually considered fringe; anarchists are usually considered dangerous. An anarchist is an extreme libertarian

I don't think that's exactly true... I think Anarchists want ZERO government, where libertarians want government to do minimal functions and stay out of their personal lives, while providing some functions and enforcing laws that are heinous and not just to make money.
I suppose I could be over simplifying, but I see a distinct difference myself.

What do you personally think of Libertarianism/Anarchism E-Kul? ???
-
Auto bailout?
You meant, "making sure the unions were off the hook", didn't you?

I have been an Anarchist/Libertarian for a long time, I deeply respect the views of men like Noam Chomsky.

Toyota and Honda would have filled that void in a few months, better business producing a better product.
Apparently they're non union. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

You're not tu chief.. that's sums it up. Nothing to do with each other beside liberating the human mind from the dominions of oppression.
