He is alienating so many people right now and the majority of America does not agree with him. This does not bode well for the future if he wants to remain in Larry`s chair.

I think he is making the argument that as the govt is so strong and powerful(for example the amount of nukes they have) that it nullifies the argument that we should be able to keep our guns bc we may need them to protect ourselves against the govt.
As stupid and ignorant as it is there had been more than one poster on this board to argue the same thing

I think I see where you're coming from:
You think he's basically "trolling" for attention, as in more people will watch the show to see him get his ass kicked. Then with the new viewers, he will do an about face on his stances.
I think it's possible, but unlikely. I don't know that the network would like, much less take this gamble. Unless they're the ones telling him to use this strategy, I think all they see is a ratings plunge, and that doesn't bode well for the host.

i agree... but look at his line up of guests... he switched them around radically of late to get people online who will disagree with him and then he antagonizes them...
