Title: Reversing receptor degradation for caffeine/ephedrine
Post by: a_ahmed on January 14, 2013, 08:57:47 AM
Was curious if one takes caffeine and EC for a while, what could reverse the desynthesization without taking time off. Make them KICK again and work as they used to.

Does ketotifen do the trick like it does for clen? I am curious if there are supps/meds that do this for caffeine and ephedrine

I've heard tyrosine helps get that kick back...don't know the exact dosage required though. Btw ephedrine's thermogenic effects don't decrease with time but yeah the boost in energy will....I never felt it myself even at high doses though.  :-\

pretty not bad... i'm kinda serious though... if you search old posts of mine you can read about how i once abused stims... when i cut them all out (for 6 months) the crash was unreal...

big mistake... but tapering off over a moderately short period (say 1-2 months) and then staying stimulant free for another 1-2 months will let you start ramping up all over again

i don't think anything else will make a difference... i am not aware of any drug in the world that can 'refresh' the adrenals

I've come across some OTC products that purportedly "re-sensitize" receptors in the manner mentioned above, but I never looked into any of them, and I honestly have no knowledge of their legitimacy. With that in mind, I will say that I would be skeptical.

Well ketotifen definetely works for the receptors clen hits.

I am also not 'abusing' them but using them while i'm cutting pre workout and not all the time. People who use them throughout the whole day maybe abuse them.

the terms use, abuse, prescribed all mean the same thing

you are taking a drug... in this case for recreational use

and if you are just cycling on/off of them then you should never build up any real resistance

I drink four or five cups of coffee every day.  I'm still about 90% as sensitive to caffeine as I've always been.

Why don't you like coffee?  The taste, or is it something else? ???

Can you add any of that cinammon bark in the new vaporizer?  ;D

the ez vape (stationary use, under $100) is awesome... cheap, easy to use and works very well... seriously... a very small amount of herb = very high and no carcinogens

the da vinci (portable, $220) is better... i bought both because i do not want to overuse the da vinci.... if i'm home i use the ez vape

regardless, neither of them produce any real smell and certainly no smoke... i use them in the house (in my bathroom with the fan on) and my wife cannot tell

vaporizing is the way to go... i even tried tobacco for fun... the nicotine kick was UNREAL... again: no smoke

Does she suspect anything when you start rummaging through the cabinets for doritos like a racoon ?

But yeah, that davinci one you picked up looks great cause you could use it anywhere due to the lack of odour.....oh the possibilities.

And yes vaporizing is much better....health wise  ;D

She doesn't mind if I vape. She'd rather the house not smell like it.

Never been a fan, I tried many times THERE WAS a phase at work where I started drinking two cups in the afternoon, but the taste is meh to me.. I get free coffees, teas, etc... at work so I have choices.

Somehow I love green tea and can't complain :)

green tea is good stuff... have you tried white tea or oolong? even less caffeine and they also have purported health benefits
