Title: TOXIC GENE discovered in MOST GM crops

This is like a sci fi nightmare.

Uncovered, the 'toxic' gene hiding in GM crops: Revelation throws new doubt over safety of foods

A virus gene that could be poisonous to humans has been missed when GM food crops have been assessed for safety.

GM crops such as corn and soya, which are being grown around the world for both human and farm animal consumption, include the gene.

A new study by the EU's official food watchdog, the European Food Safety Authority(EFSA), has revealed that the international approval process for GM crops failed to identify the gene.

any idea what the story is behind the dramatic rise in cancer cases?

it seems that cancer is gonna take over heart disease soon as the number one killer of humans

IMO probably chemicals in foods and gm foods.  Also some medications that people are taking.  Also  mobile phones and phone towers.

Agreed, cancer is a relatively new disease.  If you go back two hundred years it was not that uncommon to find people living to there eighties and nineties especially if they lived in an agrarian society.  Of course you had to contend with war and violence and people didn't know about bacteria back then, and a simple thing like a broken arm could be fatal.
