It was hard but after the 3rd episode or so, you began to like him. I hated because the final battle between he and Crixius (sp?) did not have an honest outcome.

I felt the same way at first. The new guy grows on you though.

Really way to much green screen and slow mo cams. It was sad Andy Whitfield the original spartacus passed from cancer. The new guy is not to bad, just there are other character changes as well, well new actors like one of the brothers of the escaped brothers from season 1 to 2 was different. I understand changing spartacus, reasons beyond their control, but cmon the other guy just write off, he wasnt a main character anyway. Good series but drags ass at times,...

Well, they have some black folk in there as well. The Maoris--some of them looked the mixed black-North African type. But, what is funny is the chick that played Melita is a Latina...Latinos didn't exist back then, they are a New World creation!
