I'm not against people owning guns, even owning military-style weapons if they want to , but gun-buyers should be fingerprinted , photographed, and given background checks before they can earn a license to buy guns.
Read this article , police did a great job stopping this mass murderer .
If you think there is nothing wrong with this you are a fucking retard.

''They knew the house far too well. It was where Christian Philip Oberender, then 14 years old, had murdered his mother in a shotgun ambush in the family rec room in 1995.''
''What Olson's deputies found in the home in Watertown Township was chilling: 13 guns, including semi-automatic rifles, an AK-47, a Tommy gun, assorted shotguns and handguns, including a .50-caliber Desert Eagle.''
''Even more disturbing was the letter Oberender had written recently to his late mother, Mary: "I am so homicide,'' it said in broken sentences. "I think about killing all the time. The monster want out. He only been out one time and someone die ''
''Even though Oberender killed his mother with a firearm, even though he was committed to the state hospital in St. Peter as mentally ill and dangerous more than a decade ago, he was able to obtain a permit to purchase firearms last May. That piece of paper gave Oberender, now 32, the ability to walk into any licensed Minnesota retailer and buy any assault weapon or pistol on the rack.''
"When we checked the record, there were no disqualifiers for a 'Philip Christian Oberender,'" said Carver Deputy Jason Kamerud.''
I think about killing all the time,'' Oberender wrote. "Why god do I feel like this? The monster want to hurt people. Guns are too fast. The monster want it to be slow and painful. There is so much pain in my heart and soul. Me want other to feel it."

The sad part is that he's going to be out in less than 5 years.

Why does that guy look like he couldn't even shoot straight?
There was a shooting a few yrs back that got a little bit of press, a 10 yr old kid shot his mother with HIS rifle, because he didn't feel like doing his chores. He did it in front of his sister---shot his mother as she was sitting on the couch. When the authorities came, they found four of HIS guns, on his bed and a gun rack above his head board.

Mind you, if I am correct, they found 4 guns on his bed, and a gun rack over his bed.

Read it a week back. That is a State law problem, if Minnesota had shared that bit of information with the federal authorities, he would've been booted via NICS check. This a Minnesota problem, not a problem with existing federal law.

I don't man...If a murderer wants to take out a bunch of people, why not just get a big truck and wait for their local city to have some kind of parade and just run people down? Or go to a sporting event where thousands of people will come out and walk the streets.
-
I think watching people getting run down by a massive dump truck or 18 wheeler would get many times more terrifying than watching people get shot. But than again, driving is a privilege and not a right.

"Buyers going to a licensed retailer must pass a federal background check at the counter -- but those records can also be incomplete because they are supplied to the FBI by state agencies."
Don't be mad because your state has it's thumb up it's ass as far as submitting information. He would've got kicked back if Minnesota had done it's part. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at Juvenile Mental Health laws that probably confused Minnesota.
Again, he would've never passed the below if Minnesota had done their part.
