To make this country better.
What would it be?
Mine = Term limits on Congress and the courts.
-
Have sarah palin deported.
-
I would say that congress would be like Jury duty... You pull a 2-4 year stint where you have to do it.
You would be forced to think long term for the country and you wouldn't have a chance to start getting kick backs from companies and shit.

I like that. Probably have some problems with the selection process to iron out.
I think that's the balance we need to walk. People who care...but not enough time to become horrendously corrupt.

I'm with you on that.
Special request to repeal the 17th amendment.

Palin and Keith Olbermann need a show where they debate.
They're both obnoxious and immature and reckless and spontaneous. Would be good viewing.

An Amendment to the Constitution that establishes The People as the Fourth Branch of Government which would empower citizens as Lawmakers. Here is how it would work:
-
I think I like that Adam... That would be excellent.
-
The Freedom Amendment
28th Amendment:
Neither Congress, The Courts nor the President shall make any law, proclamation or decision denying or abridging the right of any citizen of the United States from engaging in any activity which is considered a victimless crime, or any activity which does not necessarily and unjustly harm in any way any other private citizen.
-
An amendment that would make lobbying illegal and any sort of benefit offered to federal officials of any branch from the private sector would result in life in prison without the possibility of parole. This would include campaign contributions.
-
Get rid of the amendment on income taxes

I'm not so sure about that. One of my courses for my Masters in Gov't devoted nearly an entire semester to studying California and the significant problems with using referendums.
I can see how what Adonis is putting forward still maintains that representative aspect, but I typically have a more Madisonian view towards making the democracy more direct.
Maybe if I get some time I'll check out their website more indepth.

Yeah a basic tenet of Ron Paul, though I think in this day and age the results would be disasterous. I don't know how much import/export tariffs bring in these days, lol.

Politicians will just start stealing earlier. :)

Strictly limit the Federal Government to National Defense (not world police), and Infrastructure like the Interstate system.
