The Super Bowl's television engineers use a great deal more light than a standard NFL game...This is for greater clarity in the video feeds....Somebody made a mistake figuring out the electric load...

Nah but that was my first thought upon hearing the national anthem.
On a side note you really have to wonder if it was intentional.
I mean theirs billions of dollars on the line, if the game was a total blow out with with ravens on top, it would of made it one of the worst superbowls in history.
What mechanism is their too keep the owners from not cutting the lights.

It might be a shit hole, but it is a great place to have big events. The weather this weekend was sun shine and in the mid 70's. Shorts weather. Money goes far in New Orleans, not like NYC or Vegas. The bars never close like other places. The food is the best. Just don't go in the wrong hood, u might get shot.
