Said by Chris Rock...
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/06/chris-rock-obama-is-our-boss-the-dad-of-the-country-and-when-your-dad-says-something-you-listen/ (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/06/chris-rock-obama-is-our-boss-the-dad-of-the-country-and-when-your-dad-says-something-you-listen/)
Actor Chris Rock appeared on Capitol Hill on Wednesday to support President Barack Obama’s gun control efforts. He explained that Obama is “our boss” and even argued he is like the “Dad of the country.”
“The President of the United States is, you know, our boss. But he is also, you know, the president and the first lady are kinda like the Mom and Dad of the country,” Rock said. “And when your Dad says something, you listen. And when you don’t, it will usually bite you in the ass later on. So, I’m here to support the president.”
That was about all Rock had to say on Capitol Hill Wednesday, but his remarks are very telling about how he sees Obama.
Rock has previously called for unconventional gun control proposals, including allowing only people with mortgages to buy a gun. He also called for “bullet control” — or making bullets so expensive that no one can afford ammunition — in one of his comedy acts.

I HOPE he was joking.
I heard it in passing on a tv. His tone overall was not joking. He even compared him to our dads.
-
Just another racist liberal, nothing surprises me. Wiggs is correct in saying if it were Romney he wouldn't be saying that.
-
The American people are the presidents boss. He works for us, not the other way around.

This...as with any elected official.

Excuse me, but there are a lot of liberals here who voted for Obama.
Obama is our daddy. Let him lead. Do just as he says.
lets play out the string........

I don't follow ANYONE who is purposely leading us to fiscal socialism and failed policies. He's not leading, his following a manifesto that he was indoctrinated with. I will NOT "just do what he says". He is not fit to run this country, he's not even fit to run for office in a one horse town.

people in America tend not to think like that. They need to be told what to do. Hence, "Dad" must tell us what is good for us...and we MUST LISTEN.

No, no. We didn't win. They did.
There are plenty of conservatives who decided that Romney wasn't conservative enough. So they sat on election day.
So fine. We'll all live with Obamacare and learn to enjoy it.
I have nothing to do with it. It's in their hands. When they crash the system it won't be theirs anymore.
Oh, I apologize for misunderstanding. I agree with that 100%. But my worry is, when the system crashes (and it will) will it be too late?

I am afraid that it will be too late.
The illegals, abortionists, contraceptive morons, and welfare leeches will be crying but it will be to no avail.
Social causes took the forefront in the last election, instead of the real issue. Which was the economy and the deficit that will exist for as far as the eye can see.
-
It may be that the system does have to crash. That is probably the only way to fix it.
When Supreme Court Justice Roberts voted to keep Obamacare, he sealed the deal.
