set himself on fire - trying to make a point, I guess thats his last Popsicle, why does he not roll around in pain but seems to be quite calm? Depending on the burns he probably burned off his nerve endings which means he will not feel pain for now.

Burns does not even seem remotely severe, cmon. Burn stories always give me creeps. It's worst when you work in some factory and fall into boiling oil or some other viscid substance, especially if you drink that shit and you get internal burns.
I literally cried when I read story about mother who left cigarette in her baby's room and her bed burst into flames. Very severe burns, she got deformed for life. I cannot fathom amount of suffering she must have been through.
Horrible shit if you ask me.

An old man 2 houses from me burned to death. He was lighting a fireplace, caught fire somehow, ran to the neighbours house (kids were home :-\) and at that point they couldn't save him. That thing really affected me back then.

There are way more parents that don't check the temp of the bath water and all it takes is a second to lower your new born into the hot water and all the skin which is anyways very sensitive is gone
