Title: Benji
Post by: Irongrip400 on February 10, 2013, 05:54:20 PM
I'm watching the 30 for 30 entitled "Benji" on ESPN now, and man, the dude who shot Benji is a piece of shit. You can tell that even now, the guy has zero real remorse for his crime. He shot him because they bumped into each other, got into an argument, the guy flashed his gun and when dude lunged he shot him. How can life be that cheap? What the fuck is wrong with these people? The dude even said that his grandfather told him not to pull a gun unless he planned on using it. Who teaches these kids like this?

Oh, these things, 30 for 30 are done really well. What do you think one about bodybuilding would be like?(BB related)

wtf is benji?

A basketball player back in the 80's, high school phenom who was killed because he bumped into some idiot who had no self control. Anyway, you hear these guys, his friends, talk about  how THEIR lives would be different had he lived. That he would have taken care of all of them. 30 for 30 are made very well. Even if you're not a sports nut, they still hold your attention.

From Wikipedia.  Parker, sorry for your loss.

This film documents the November 1984 death of Wilson, who was regarded as the best basketball player in the country, but was shot the day before his senior season of high school basketball. The film documents the cultural ripple effects of his life and death. It documents the contemporaneous impact of the death on those closest to Wilson, such as Anderson, and the long-run influence of his death on Chicago's youth, such as Parker.
