Title: Westminster Kennel Club 137th
Post by: knny187 on February 11, 2013, 09:06:24 PM
Is Monday & Tuesday (2/11 - 2/12).

It's the second oldest American sporting event behind the kentucky Derby.

One day, I hope to attend or exhibit at the Garden.

He's pretty much retired at this point at 7 years old.  I bring him out occasionally just to have fun.  He achieved Grand Champion status & even won group placements.  As of right now, he enjoys retirement more than getting up early for a show.

Right now I have my hands full with a couple promising youngsters.  One young male I'm handling for a client has potential to go real far.  If things hold together, you just might see him at a big show like Westminster.  I also own a young female that has big potential.  She has certain limitations that will make her a great show dog but not has far as this other male puppy I'm talking about.

You know how it is.  It's a lot of 'wait & see" how they come into themselves.  Sometimes they do, & sometimes they don't.

Nice to hear Diego turned out to be a great showdog and loyal companion ofcourse...Would love to see a picture of him at the ripe age of seven... :)
My last dog died ( Roma) at an age of 11 and a half in 2011...very old for a Mastino Napoletano...we are looking into breeders as i type this but not for a Mastino but we are looking for a English Mastiff.... 8)

That is very old, so sad to hear.  Atleast you had Roma for a long time.

English Mastiff, now there's another big dog.
