The Watson thing was pretty bad, though. It wasn't a contest of knowledge, since the two guys knew the answer to just about every question, just as Watson did, and each tried to signal for nearly every question. It was a contest of information retrieval time, at best. Watson beat them to the signal practically every question, and by the end of the first round on the first game, the humans had resigned themselves to what was happening, lol.
On another run, there was an absolute freak of nature named Roger Craig, who combined crazy knowledge with just plain craziness--he would make it a "True Daily Double" each time, and just bury his competition. Why the fuck they haven't had a tourney between him, Jennings, and Rutter, I don't know. I'd love to see that.

I actually watched this ...hahaha one of the best episodes of Jeopardy I ever saw... the most ever on a Daily Double probably..he said 18000 lol

I watch Jeopardy all the time. I don't know how I missed this kid who looks like Michael Jackson during the Motown era. Coolest contestant of all time.

Yeah, that guy was great. He couldn't even have the benefit of braille, for obvious reasons, so he had to process all the information by ear and react accordingly.
If he'd played at a time that offered unlimited winnings, he possibly would have given Jennings a run.
