All hail Baby! Heroic pit bull saves family, 5 dogs from fire
Pit bulls have a bad name, but not because of dogs like Baby. The pit bull terrier is being called a hero after saving her owners from a fire that ravaged their Wellston, Okla., home. Rhonda Westenberger and her sister, Evelyn, were asleep when Baby rushed to their sides, barking and pouncing on Evelyn until she woke up — in the nick of time. "If Baby hadn't woken Evelyn up, I don't think either one of us would have come out of it," Westenberger said. But Baby wasn't done. She returned to save the family's five other dogs, dragging out one that was hiding underneath a bed. "She is my hero," Westenberger said. "She's the hero for all of us."

Their are stories of many breeds acting in a heroic manner, they never get published, because those breeds already have a good reputation, unlike Pitbulls who need to counter the regular maiming, mauling and killing that Pitbulls do. A lot of these stories are put out by Pitbull Nutters, they are deliberate PR attempts at reducing the reputation for ripping children's faces off, they are often embellished and sometimes completely fabricated. I have heard them all before, the way the Nutters carry on, you would think Pitbulls won World war 2.
If you want a look into the mindset of a Pitbull Nutter, look no further than the case of Darla Napora, she was a member of Bad Rap, was killed by her own Pitbull and then the husband and the group BAD RAP (A Pitbull advocacy group) hired a PR company to put out misinformation out there that Darla fell off a ladder and died and the dog was licking her and nudging her after the fact to try and wake her. Of course, the Police, Animal Control and everyone else knew otherwise, Darla had horrendous Puncture Wounds, severed arteries and their was no doubt that she did a brutal and violent death at the jaws of her beloved Pitbull. The Coroner marked down the cause of death as a result of Dog Attack, causing severe puncture wounds and a loss of blood. But, to this day, due to the misinformation campaign led by the Nutters and their PR company, you ill hear them claim that it wasn't the Pitbull that killed her, it was actually trying to help her even though the Police noted that the scene looked like that of the worst homicides they had ever seen. Their isn't anything that surprise me about Pitbull Nutters.

For the life of me, I can't understand how an adult male could be scared of a dog. You literally have to sit there and wait while a 3rd grade kid nips at your arm to draw blood.
Sure it sucks to get bit...but it's a 50lb dog. Grab it by the neck and say "bad doggie" or something.

I was left unable to walk for 6 months. This is no surprise, Pitbulls have been bred to be the ultimate fighting breed of dog and regularly maim, maul and kill human beings and other animals. We are talking about animals that were initially bred to bring down 2000 pound bulls, not some show poodle.

I've been around large breeds my entire life. They're fucking dogs that don't even have hands.
Here's my 130lb CanMuc presa...he's a big pussy, but my kids take comfort in knowing that most people are like you and would just sit there pussy-dicking around while he nipped at you if you ever broke into our house.

You can take the piss all you like, none of you would challenge two enraged game pitbulls, and I mean NONE. Also, I am not scared of dogs, I have actually owned a pitbull many many years ago and have one tattoed on my back. I know more about the breed than anybody I have ever met. A lot of my friends have owned Pitbulls, I have been to many gatherings at Staffy Clubs and the like. The fact is, you all talk tough, because you haven't been in a situation where two game Pitbulls are endeavouring to kill you. All the tough guys making out like you simply grab an attacking Pit-bull and that's all it takes, good luck doing that while two pitbulls (with no collar) are darting around you taking chunks out of your flesh and severing tendons.
The reason people are attracted to these dogs is because they are insecure and it makes them feel tough, you only need to listen to the Pitbull owners comments about how they are ALPHA and their dog is a pussy and how they can easily dominate it etc.(it's because you feed it you fuckwit, and dogs aren't stupid enough to bite the hand that feeds it, not because you are some ALPHA, also pits are 6 times more likely to attack their owner, and that's from a pit friendly study) Lets see how you go with someone elses strange Pitbulls that you have never met, they wouldn't give a flying fuck that you are an owner of a Pitbull. Anyway, whenever I hear people talking about their dangerous breed of dog and how tough it makes them feel, I pity them and their neighbours.

The fact you would expose young children to a Presa Canario because of a need to bolster a weak sense of masculinity is insight into the type of person you are. This is a well known dangerous breed of dog, that can kill an adult, let alone a small child. And even if the dog never attacked, why would you take such a risk with your child's health and safety, when you consider that their are over 400 breeds of dog that have never killed anybody, why would you choose a breed of dog that is banned in many countries and could kill your child within a blink of an eye. People like you should be disallowed from owning a pot plant, let alone having a child or dangerous breed of dog.
