Cormier handled 405 better than a vid I saw of DJ inclining. Levrone vs Chris benching would be a match

Still levrone is stronger. Chris is strong though

Dj didn't bench 405 on the incline if memory recalled had a spot from rep one
He then proceeded to put on another plate... Again spit from rep one
I think Cormier us a little stronger than Levrone well it's been said he did 500 incline I can't remember if there is a vid of that

I def think an off-season Cormier could do 495 on incline

there also was a photoshoot with him and ronnie ......... he couldnt hang with ronnie on shoulders...
ronnie military pressed 405 in that shoot...

sweet ego training

A Ronnie Coleman, Kevin Levrone, Chris Cormier bench off would have been great
The leading event would be JOJ vs Ben White vs Branch Warren

Yeah I seem to remember a Flex shot of him with 495 but we know how fake those shots were. I used to have a pic of DJ front squating 585 from Flex on my fridge. No clue they used fake plates back then. Ronnie has to be tops for strength all-around. Tom Prince would be up there too.

ron would be the first to go. arms were a little longer than those guys and wasnt a gifted presser using the bar.

chris admitted ronnie was stronger during a photo shoot on military presses ronnie did 405 for a single
chris needed help with 315

thing is, Flex and Chris used to train together...and even with the beef that Flex and Chris had, Chris never has called Flex a weakling. And never has said that Flex couldn't hang.
I've read several times---one from Charles Glass, and one from Flex, that when Flex was an amateur and training with Chris as well, that Charles had to tell Flex to dial back on lifting heavy.
So, who knows, maybe that was fake, and maybe it wasn't. I think out of all of those west coast bbers (Flex, Dillet, Shawn, Chris), I think Shawn Ray pound for pound was the strongest. And it's been said that few could keep up with his pace...

Yeah, few people give Shawn his props. He was very strong, and doubly to his credit, the guy lifted hard week in and week out. Kevin was arguably the strongest presser among the top guys (believe it or not, before his biceps injury, Dorian might've had something to say about that), even if Chris and, later, Ronnie, came close and/or surpassed him in some moves. I think Ronnie is the king of 200 lb. flat DB bench, but Kevin was a barbell flat bench prodigy. I could toss a coin as to how the best incline bencher among the three might be ...
But after a time, I'm reminded of my real priorities and decide I don't give a fuck, even if it means bowing out of the conversation :)

U really think cormier is stronger?? I've seen Chris train for years, never seen the 495 on incline, seen him do 455, but even with 405 that was his first exercise on chest
Kevin is just STRONG when it's benching , he has done 405 for 12 easy on flat, could have gotten 15/20. Proceeded to do 455 for 6 then on to incline with 405 for a couple sets of 6 with no spot.
I'm speaking from what I've seen, I've seen a lot of these guys train during the years in person not vid
And yes Shawn is very strong for his weight with a fast pace style of training but with pretty good form
