Title: Supplements to take while on TRT
Post by: JediTerminator on February 21, 2013, 10:09:41 AM
I take 10g Andro gel 1% daily. So that's roughly 700mg test a week (too bad on shitty absorption rate, trying to get injections). Been on this 3 months and grew 1/4" on my arms.

What kinda supplements should I take to go along for optimal results?

Currently used supplements are a 1 a day vitamin and some walmart body fortress protein powder. I just eat regular food, lower on the carb side and upped my protein up to 180g a day.

I'm 5'10, 177 lbs, 14% bodyfat.

If you are going to get "health supplements", at least go with the best brand which is Life Extensions, not the shitty Wal-Mart brands that have inferior formulas and raws...Also, try to shoot for organic ingredients in your vitamins/supplements.

Forget about the dumb creatine, glutamine, beta-alanine, etc crap..
Top notch vitamin manufacturer.

Waste of money if you are eating plenty of protein.

Multi-vit and protein powder is all i would spend money on other than good old food.

Right now I use a shake for at work if I'm hungry. I just buy body fortress $20 or so 2lb tub. do 60g worth with some fish oil. Otherwise whole meals. I don't buy much into supplementation but i also don't know much about it.

I bought a container of C4 pre-workout for dirt cheap and use it only as a "pick me up" if I'm tired before a workout. I see it as just a cheaper priced version of an energy drink.

rough estimate what my daily food intake would be abouts:

meal #1... 3-6 whole eggs, 2 packets of oats with cinammon

meal #2... chicken and 2 cups white rice

meal #3... lets say this is the 60g shake with fish oil

meal #4... 6-8oz beef, 1 cup white rice, some greens

meal #5... chicken with a salad and some fish oil

meal #6... half a container of greek yogurt with some peanut butter

pretty much an average day
