Arnold, Oliva nad Nubret were by far best.
Zane was small, stringy and I never understood what is this "aesthetic" talk about him all about. To me he looks average - shitty arm structure, average size waist, flat chest. He had wide clavicles and was quite dry.

Cmon, what is so special about that?

Makkawy was best poser ever. I used to show posing of various bodybuilders to my ex gf, who was ex ballet dancer. I am deaf to music and rhytm but she obviously has more sense than me. She laughed at 99% of bodybuilders and told me they were just as deaf as I am but she liked Makkawy, she told me he was the only one who could hear music and had good moves. I have no idea about that but I must admit I liked his style and choice of music. However, I think most of guys back then used way better music than nowadays.

wide clavicles+narrow ass hips+tiny ass joints

also long legs for his height and a medium length torso

Sergio Oliva, Arnold, and Reeves. Oliva being the best, greatest genetics too. Makkawy was the best poser I agree.

I this talk about Zane's structure..it was good but he lacked fullness and was always flat and muscle bellies weren't as round as others. Oliva had the same amazing structure, wide clavicles, narrow hips and small joints with full muscle bellies and fullness. Oliva > Zane.

Zane by far .. objectively he personifies the bodybuilding ideal. Arnold was impressive but Zane was what it is all about.

Zane a master of illusion, he beat Arnold once. But it depends on your structure as what you got Sev. If a smaller bone structure and shorter height then Zane was the master. I'm 6'2" so a more of a Arnold type so I tend to follow his philosophy.

The only poses nowadays are the mandatories.

Signature poses don't really exist anymore and in general, bodybuilders don't understand posing.

For example, Jay Cutler should never do a 3/4 rear double bicep.

If they actually marked posing rather than getting rid of it, things would more likely be different.
