Not your dick, but your emotions. Never feeling mercy, sympathy, or remorse for anything you do.
Curious with this since I just watched the movie Juice.

now how do you shut off thoughts? because the mind is always thinking. I seen I think it was a Tony Robbins youtube vid where he said you have to act upon the thoughts that help you right now, not what worked before.

You need to have a deep intelligence coupled with indomitable resolve. it is not a matter of not feeling those emotions, it is feeling them and pushing them to one side to focus on the here and now. It is choosing to think what you want and not allowing your mind to run rampant like monkeys in a forest. It takes incredible discipline and a strong will.

stop eating meat. lack of heme iron in your diet will fill your soul with hate for your fellow man thereby making you the hard bastard you aspire to be.

it comes with time. you get thru things a few times, and you realize how little things matter in the long run.
old people... fat, out of shape, bald, stinkin... they dont give a shit, because they've seen the world they grew up wtih disappear, they've seen most of their loved ones die, adn they've seen the whole new generation of crap dominate culture, over and over.
Time. Give it time and you'll be a hard jaded MFer.

I like hard on the outside and soft on the inside!

Due to neuroplasticity, modifying the flux of experience we witness day in and day out is liable to change our mentality (to varying degrees) as the sensory barrage literally restructures portions of our brains. If you want to become "harder," dull your affective mechanisms by modifying the flux of experience accordingly. Do what hard people do, see what they see. The functionality of your affective mechanisms will decline as a result of relatively little use ("use it or lose it").
The best at being hard are born that way, and why anyone would want to become more like them I'm not sure.

Lifting weights is a good way of getting rid of emotions and staying cold, calm and focused. I always loved that fact and use it higly as an advantage in life.

Be deployed to fight in any war/conflict, after I got back I just felt sorry for humanity- I NEVER took it too seriously after that. Just kids playing in a damn sandbox, that's all we are!!! :D
