The reason there is already a conspiracy to cover up any evidence of alien intelligence.
Talk about aliens again has that knee jerk reaction that causes you to think UFO's and grays, but that is very far from rational. The reality is proof of alien intelligence will likely be in the form of radio signals.
If you think this is just opinion it's not proof is Government agencies such as seti have been scanning the sky for decades.
With our new found evidence for earth like planets( ranking in hundred of millions if not billions) just within our own galaxy it's obvious that the chance of life being out there is tremendously high.
This isn't hidden information and is out in the open.
The question isn't could we intercept signals from alien intelligence it's whether or not the disclosure channels would work as they should or would this information be kept under wraps.
So I ask if an alien signal 300 lightyears away exposed how to cheaply create enriched uraninum would the government cover this up or not.

They still have no info on planets having water, having oxygen, having a magnetic field, having a certain gravity level, having a specific pressure, literally millions of other components, give me this and you have an earth like planet not the BS they claim.

Mars has no water ,no magnetic field, the pressure is different, the gravity is different, no oxygen, no nothing really, -100 at night +100 degrees in the day, nothing is alike not even close.

It's likely mars at a thicker atmosphere in the past, the cooling of the core of the planet was it's main issue.
The gravity and pressure differences are relatively minor in comparison to the issue of having a molten corp.

Imagine that you are walking through the park one bright and sunny day and you notice an ant crawling on the sidewalk. What do you do? Nothing. You don't care, it's just an ant. Intellectually it has no significance to you and isn't even that interesting. You simply move on.
If aliens were advanced enough to reach us or communicate with us, chances are that we would be of no use to them and they would just leave without ever even stopping to interact.
