Why cant london gyms adopt this ... the gyms are overrun with complete idiots
not enough gyms and too many foolish people
-
Probably because they would go out of business. I like the idea but gym's are generally to make money and they make most of their money off the "low information member." ;D
-
'cos they wanna make some money ???
-
I wonder if you were weak as shit but dedicated to train and learn they'd accept you?

Never mind that, why can't gyms stay open 24/7 like in the States?

its nothing to do with strength......

never ran across someone like that. i'm fortunate i guess. i see some people who go together all the time and they talk more than they lift but they'll move their ass if you wanna use what they are.

That's Louie Simmons. That's his deal. He must charge the members $1000/month.
That said, he does turn out some strong mofos.

Westside is tiny, and was even tinier before they expanded, it's part of the selling point that if you're picked, you're part of an elite club. Simmions makes his money from consulting and equipment.
He is pretty nice if you want to ask him questions, or duck your head in for a quick look. You basically just need to pick up the phone, and let him know you're serious.
Most of the larger powerlifting clubs are like that, by appointment only, but they're not money making ventures.

I think if there was a gym with standards that alone would make that gym super populr and serious trainers would pay to go there no question....
there arent enough gyms in london.... thats why they are too packed and overrun
Id pay quadruple to train in a gym that has some kind of requirement for entry

america have many great biiiig gyms all stacked with great equipment ive seen that when i went there... so even if there are some idiots in the gym you can work around them, in london some gyms have 1 bench press or 2,
when you have a group of guys doing 20 or more sets..... thats nonsense..
