Title: cricket lighters?

I was talking with some friends, and someone started talking about cricket lighters from back in the day. Can you still buy them? I can't find them online.

They are the lighters that bic copied, undercutted, and then killed off. They made a weird sound went to flicked them.

ah, right.. never heard of those i don't think. so cricket is just a brand name and nothing to do with the bat and ball game, right ?

Pretty tight, but I always preferred the snap fingers to open, followed by snap fingers to light.

Cricket is still around, but concentrates on the European market mainly. I hardly ever see them in stores anymore, although some older mom and pop stores have them.
