i tried doing calf raises but i dont think it works?

They say neck,calves and arms should be the same size right?
My measurements of the above are pretty similar but for some reason the calves look to be much much smaller :-\

i got the same issue man
and it doesn't help that my left calf will never be as big as my right calf due to the fact of the 2 butchered knee surgeries that i had on my left knee from basketball playing days

Starting useless threads has been proven to limit calf growth. You should test this theory.

use negative work go out go mountain running . and superset jumping squats with drop sets calf raises . still may try luke saunders routine on t nation .

all you can do is train them at various rep levels and various sets etc.
they take time, the genetic structure is give, and theres a tendency that if one is on the heavier side as far bodyweight goes, he will have bigger calves.
seen some fatsos who never trained anything other than opening their mouths for burger intake whoms calves dwarf any pro calves.
like piramiding somehow?
first set 25 reps and add weight the next 4 sets?

If you got high calf insertions you can't expect them to really grow, can you ? the structure limits their growth, totally.

yes jumping squats and jumping rope work too. Superset jumping rope and standing calf raises or seated and you will feel it. I like seated Barbell calf raises and although very awkward it gets results. Do not however forget raises to the front Tibialis raises.

yes they are mine they have always been very small compared to my quadricep
i did today about 5 sets of standing calf raises start with 1 plate on each side of machine to failure (slow down pause at bottom to cancel elastic energy of the tendon) then add weight thru the sets, last 2 sets with 2 plates each side to failure
maybe at one point when strength is higher for more weight it will work
