Title: is THE HOBBIT worth getting?
Post by: JediTerminator on March 19, 2013, 12:10:15 PM
I hear it's something like 3 hours long. Holy smokes that's a long time to sit still. Is it good action or just more like little kid stuff?

to keep bodybuilding related, how do I do build that Orc/Troll type traps neck in order to make my orc looking face at least 0.0009% better looking?

i didn't like LOTR, but i saw the hobbit this weekend. It was really decent. I think a fan of that type of movie will jizz their pants.

Meh the action scenes are by far the worst part.

In fact without the  majority of them it'd be a much better movie.

Granted there are some badass parts that are actually good, but I'd think they'd be even better if they were surrounded by crap.

If you have virtually no fear of the character getting hurt it isn't believable.

You know what I mean, when the dwarf took the giant trolls arm that was fucking intense.

The rest of it seemed like a sub par video game. There's no connection to the action, no emotional investment.

^^^Is the HOBBIT worth getting? My answer is no. You won't be able to take him out in public with that awful face tattoo^^^

I really enjoyed it, liked it more than the original trilogy.

Lots of epic walking, and lots of "WTF Gandolf, why didn't you just do that 20 mintues ago?
