Title: Post the most impressive photo you can find of the BB Legends!
Post by: quadzilla456 on March 21, 2013, 10:22:57 PM: Each of the legends has that one pose and photo that stands out as their most impressive. For example while Arnold had many impressive FDB or side chest shots there must be one that stands above the rest.

I will start with what I believe are the easy ones.

Frank Zane had many amazing vacuum shots, this is the best I could find but there may be better ones.

Dorian's most impressive pose to me was either side tricep or front lat spread.

He looked amazing in the 1993 Olympia Side Tricep comparison with Ray and Wheeler. Basically schooled them totally in that pose. I can't find a good version of the picture.

Agreed. Out of all the great Ronnie Coleman shots out there this is the one that defines him. It's his money shot.

Just imagine if these photos existed and if Flex had won and Ronnie placed out of the top 10? I've heard rumors that some of the homo's in the Hierarchy that day didn't wan't Ronnie in the top 10 because he was a no name. This is certainly one Mr. Olympia where they got it completely right.

cover photo. At least we know the peak is real and this image will
always be numero uno with me because of the impact it had on my life.
Not so much the photo itself, although awesome but the book itself. It seriously had a great
impact on how I lived, especially as a teenager.

impressed me because of how lean and dry he is. You rarely see
the sunken in faces anymore and his intercostals are showing
standing face forward. Imagine if he could have kept this waist
with the added size. Impossible I realize but this is a freaky picture
in a different way than most. Condition like this is rarely if ever seen
in the current scene.

This is the only one that keeps popping up in all the searches - but is a Front single Double Bicep

I do have this mental image in my head of one you speak of - I saw it on the Vid clip and he placed his trophy and cheque down and hits the pose with Joe clapping next to him - and that pic is out there somewhere.

Dude was majestic in his prime. He has of course been eclipsed in terms of muscular development, but IMO nobody looked as "good" as he did...maybe early Flex Wheeler.

No worries, had the same book, lost it years ago,

Here's another shot, I think its from the '73 olympia but not too sure. He carried a lot of mass, that pic is 40 years old!

x2 Arnold is BB - The man can be put on a BB Mag and drive sales through the roof - 73 - 74 he was perfect as Big Groink says.. Still the Best Physique going, just my opinion though. ;)

Yep. It sounds silly to say Arnold, the most famous BBer of all time, doesn't get his props....but the Real Arnold..not pumping Iron Arnold, or Syndey Australia Arnold...1973-75 , His prime years , are before most peoples times, and he was incredible.
