I haven't done them in a while, although I train people on them a good compound exercise for shoulders/traps even the bicep brachii outside head on biceps. I think Big Dicked Bob does 350 last I heard... :D

Worthless exercise

3 plates sloppy form, 2 plates pefrect form

Bio-mechanically, upright rows are a terrible movement and one that should never be performed with heavy weight if long term shoulder integrity is important to you. Why risk subacromical impingement?

This is top3 of most favourite exercises of noobs and "bodybuilders". I train in a gym that has olympic lifting platform once in a while with olympic lifters. This is public gym called "Platinum Fitness", propably one of most crowded gyms in Cracow. Amount of pathetic morons with fake tan doing most bullshit exercises ever is absolutely staggering. They divide into two groups - those who look like tiny shit and those who found out steroids and tanning beds.
top3 bullshit exercises they perform:
1. upright rows to neck (it hurts to watch)
2. "spider curls" or whatever they call it. whenever I see 100lbs overweight guy doing these I fucking laugh.
3. 1/4 rom whatever - squats, bench etc.
-
don't think there a bad exercise, I usually use a shoulder width grip, no more than 110 lbs.
-
225 no straps
-
Olympic EZ curl bar loaded to the max with 25 pound plates for 33-34 reps.

1 before my AC joint feels like it has a dagger in it
