Sorry don't know another way to post this. Thought some might find this interesting since there had been some questions lately about training for a pump.

I wonder if Gary Jones saw how Vince is using his hammer strength machines. Very strange. Super high reps. I think I lost count at 32 when he was doing that standing bench movement.

Me too and I think he was doing upper back and traps wit that movement. Definitely a strange movement.

He was pushing.., so hard to see how that works traps- seems like a weird pressing movement wirh the handles going out when they should come in.., but he looked great.

I know but he mentions that when you keep you head up it's a chest movement, but when you keep it down it hits the traps and he was doing back.

I saw vince train when he was in town doing a guest pose.. Much much larger than you think in person.. He trained "light" but with little rest periods and it was pretty intense in his effort.. Used 95 pound dumbells for flat presses but rested only 30 seconds or so and just kept pumping until reps dropped too low.. Then moved on to cable crossovers...

Yep, same Vince Taylor who on Palumbo's show complained how people on GB talked about BBers being all drugs. Put a natural on that type of training and see the results. You'll get some skinny fat, no muscle density, holding water sack of shit even after 5 years of "intense" training.

Pretty much goes to show you can just jack around with the weights and get/keep gains, as long as hormones are in order.

[ DR ] How has your diet evolved over the years?
VT: That is the worst thing ever (laughs). It still is and will never change. My diet will never change... Coca Cola, red meat and ketchup. I will always have my Coca Cola. Right now it gets blended with a little scotch most of the time, and I have my beer. My diet has always been relaxed. It has never been one of those strict diets.

I always try to maintain at least three meals a day, sometimes this is very hard. Sometimes it is one or two. This time around I have bumped it to five meals by adding two shakes to my diet. But overall I'm not a big food consumer, never have been, never would be. So nothing has really changed there.

[ DR ] That is a very unorthodox approach. What is the composition of your diet?
VT: High protein. High carbohydrates I have very seldom, especially now I have been training hard for the last seven months or so. My carb intake has always been low. I don't like breads and don't eat a lot of potatoes and white rice. You won't find my type of eating habits in home. My eating habits are more Burger King burgers - I do this often. My main meal is breakfast, which is bacon, eggs, ketchup.

[ DR ] If this works for you it works for you, but not a lot of guys would be following that.
VT: There you go, it is nothing you can right stories about. I do it because I like it.

[ DR ] Three meals a day seems inconceivable for a top tier bodybuilder like yourself?
VT: About three usually. It might be down to two depending on if I eat or skip breakfast. I'm out the door to the gym. Come home and have a meal between 12 and one. Back to the gym at five, come home and have something to eat, and have my scotch. All of a sudden you have only had two or three meals for the day. I'm used to that. I can go all day with only one meal.

VT keeping it real on the diet mobile. good thing steroids don't affect the gall bladder. I guess he's not with a supplement company or wasn't at the time. This is totally against industry doctrine! maybe he's sponsored by coca cola? :)

I've seen Vince train many many many times and have worked out with him a couple of times.  I can honestly say that for that video he must have taken cheque drops, halotestin, and some Mama's-Getting-Mad medicine because in real life he never trained that hard at all.    Never really broke a sweat most of the time.

these blokes here don't get it......they are all about deads...benches and squats......they don't realize that taylor has been doing this for a zillion years and he knows his body......and he has used many exercises and rep schemes over the years.....and slowly over time he found what works for him.

most of these kids here think that taylor can eat cupcakes and shoot winny v and viola.....you have a world class physique.

the joke is on those that think this way.

vince taylor and many others......train smart and train sensibly and know what they are doing.......but you can't tell it to these so called "experts".

Basic machine shit.  The way they were meant to be used.  None of that exotic stuff he was doing here in these videos.  He was what Lee Haney once called a "pump artist".  High volume, high-ish reps.  Nothing to get past failure.  No forced reps, no negatives, no supersets, no rest pause, etc.  He would do a drop set on occasion.  Just pushing the blood into the muscle over and over.   He loved cables. (and head bands)  I posted about it before, but he gave me some of those Powerballz training aids he sells long ago.  Gave me the worst case of tendonitis I ever had.  I gave them to a friend, same thing happened to him.  He gave them away... same thing.

VT is intact. It's the only thing that matters in bodybuilding.
Only the machine and the cable.
No squats, deadlifts, bench or overhead presses.
Never, never, never.
Preserve your physical integrity at all times.

To look big and strong on the beach. You can always claim it is your “light day”  at the gym to play off your weakness.

"I eat low carbs... mostly Burger King."

He's either a pretty good troll, or he's legitimately a freak of nature.  I don't care how much gear you're on, if you're drinking whiskey-cokes all day and eating Burger King every day, you're not getting under 15% BF.

Also lmao at Burger King being "low carb."

My physical strength makes so many tasks easier in my day to day life. I could not inagine being untrained and pitiful. And comparatively I see myself as one of the weaker lifters here.

Im sure you dont go around lifting big things up in public to show your strength to people.
