*just a quick note. The person who shot that interview is a client of mine, Rick Lee. He also does our shoots as well.

As far as what I would do different? It's hard to tell with a short video, but these obviously have some great credentials that would be hard to argue with. I did notice, as far as strength, they didn't squat him. With any athlete I think that squats are essential, but any throwing athlete, we don't straight bar squat or free squat, we use a safety bar and box squat. I don't think we saw everything as far as posterior chain except RDL's and stability ball pull-ins. I would go GHR, KB swings, RDL and uni-lateral movements as lateral movements. I'm not a fan of bosu balls and we use only air pillows for ankle pre-hab strength and mobility, barefoot.

Like them, we test and screen with the FMS. Flexibility is done before and after. I have modified a dynamic warm up taken from my mentor, Chris Carlisle that includes speed technique, active stretch, dynamic warm up and mobility. Got to go. more on this later

Thanks Coach...there is no way that he was 20% in the video. His belly was hanging over in some shots. It's a shame that he lacks the mental focus to maximize his genetic gifts. I wish him well because I love a good come back story. On the right team, such as the Patriots, Giants, Pittsburgh, San Fran or Baltimore he could be a serviceable Quarterback.

As for your information, you are right in that we didn't see the full videos and perhaps he did/does work on his lower base. I would love to see the final product, him around 265lbs.

Would you know if most QBs go back to basic training in the off season?
