Sledgehammer Swings 4 x 30 (20lb sledge)
Tire Flips - 4 x 10 (600lb)
Tire fights - 4x:30 sec (600lb)
Farmers walks w/fat gripz - 4 x 40 yards
Keg Carry - 4 x 40 yards (175lb keg)
Sandbag carry - 4 x 40yards (120lbs)
Sled drag w/2" thick rope - 4 x 40yards (280lbs)

Before you start screaming "Crossfit", we do 20min of soft-tissue, activation, dynamic warm up, flexibility (before and after), :30sec between exercises, 2-3min recovery between rounds.
This circuit varies from week to week since we do strongman exercises in our regular training. THIS IS A CONDITIONING DAY.
Have fun.

I am really, really, really trying to not mention crossf......
Seriously though, this is really something you would see at one of the GOOD gyms Joe. My stuff is far from what the glassdouche puts out.

Training like this has been around looonng before crossfit. IMO, this is more challenging and a hell of a lot safer. We actually have had some crossfiters over here that have liked this much better. We only do this type of training once per week.

NOT Cross Fit. Coach knows what he is doing.

One plow, one muddy field, one pair of boots...
All the conditioning, cardio, and strength "activation" one would probably need.

Yes, there is no doubt it has. Just like BJJ and boxing was around before it was all packaged into "MMA". I don't doubt that some CFers liked it much better. I will always put the disclaimer out there that there are many CF Gyms, within that there are not enough GOOD-GREAT gyms. Just like personal trainers and coaches. Rutgers come to mind right now? Should we now think all coaches are like that? No. With all due respect, why can't you simply post your thing with out making a sly comment about CF? I do 20 mins of mobility, stretching, movement prep before I start my training. I also do 15 - 20mins of what I call 'cool down' rehab stuff afterwards. I don't sit there in a pile of sweat, say something asinine like "awesome workout brah", then leave in my jeep with the top down blaring death metal. :)

Because of all of the negative shit I've posted about CF, some people might assume that this is a CF knockoff and needed to be clarified.

But I won't deny for one second that the "Women of crossfit" thread is one of my all time favorite threads on here. Damn.

Ok then, we are BFF's again.
