Title: Dolph Ziggler: From jobbing to the Funkasaurus to World Heavyweight Champion
Post by: MCWAY on April 10, 2013, 07:43:58 PM
What a difference a year makes.

About this time in 2012, Ziggler's best attribute was overselling Brodus Clay's headbutt. He couldn't beat the Funkasaurus to save his life.

Now, the last six months, he's beaten Cena, Orton, and Del Rio, the last of which got him a World title (courtesy of MITB).

I say give the Funkasaurus a title shot. A year ago, he owned Ziggler.

 ;D

Didn't he get eliminated from the Royal Rumble by Kharma, after taking her finishing move?

Is he a transition champ or will be he at the top for a while?
Title: Ziggler Status

WWE must have some really big plans for him. Been out over a month and they never stripped him of the belt, anyone else they would have. It will be interesting to see how he wrestles at Payback this Sunday.

Just read a write up from Payback.  Was funny as it was "real time" and at the end of the commentary the guy said that it looks like the match is setting it up for a face turn for Zig and then a nice heel turn for Del Rio.  After a bit, the guy wrote about the promo Del Rio gave and said it was classic 'faux face' promo and lay money on a heel turn for Del Rio very soon.

sucks either way. Good wrestler but can't get the fans to jeer/hate him.

Ziggy face turn on the way.

Seems like Ziggy will be climbing the ladder again. Loss to Chico del rio and a supposed feud with Big E at Summerslam...perhaps next WrestleMania..

Ziggler kind of reminds me of Rick Rude in a way. He would also be great IMO with a manager like Bobby H. or Haymen.
