I read the Moscow Times online. This photo is from that publication. (Putin could have been a good bodybuilder. Keeping it bodybuilding related.)

Yes.
And it's not possible for everyone to agree with everybody.
Even I think he should loosen up a bit in certain areas.... like truly freeing the nominations of regional leaders in oblasts. That would be good for more wide spread development if people in far away rural areas could see they can really affect the future of their home.
But in conclusion VVP is one of the very few leaders these days with a clear goal for his country.
In most places governments just try to survive whatever crisis is on hand and make short sighted decisions like pump what tax money they have left to bankrupt foreign countries.
