You are correct this is shitty lighting. They all look soft. If someone can make the lighting better u can see the guys conditioning. This is becoming a frequent problem at shows. These guys needs to spend the money on enough lighting.

Pre-judging should take place with a plain black curtain background. What is all this distracting garbage for a back drop? Also, lighting is always an issue when the contest is held on a expo stage.
