did NOT see that coming. Damn.

Widely considered to be one of the greatest amateur fighters of ALL time, Rigondeaux has been lauded by boxing trainer Freddie Roach as being "Probably the greatest talent I've EVER seen". A documentary on Rigondeaux is in the works by filmmaker Brin-Jonathan Butler.

not really a shock if you follow the sport

The Flash looked slow compared to him I follow amt and pro and I am glad he finally got his time in the pros still thought Flash had enough size and experience to beat him

This is just flat out stupidity at its finest.

He's just a slugger with speed, no jab or straight right hand. He got exposed, he landed only 18 jabs lol

He fought a terrible fight. He absolutely didn't prepare properly or have a solid game plan. Just because he lost, doesn't mean he was exposed. He'll bounce back and probably be a better fighter because of this. For clarity, I think even at his best, Rigo still would have beaten him.

He made alot of excuses after the fight. He's an athletic power puncher, and he faced a true boxing specialist. Rigo gonna be hard to beat, skill wise he's up there with Floyd and Ward.
-
And when I said exposed, I meant for boxing skill. He's gonna go on and beat a lot of guys and continue his career.

I agree with this. At his best, I think Donaire struggle with Rigo. As will most 122 and 126 pounders.

I just think your vastly underrating his boxing skill based on one really bad showing.

Maybe a bit dicky on my part. But you have to admit it's absurd for you to say Nonito Donaire has "no" boxing skill.

andre ward is a decent boxer but not in the same league floyd and rigondeaux
but you are correct anyone who knows boxing could see this result coming from a mile away
i tried putting $50 on rigondeaux to win by decision but no one was taking that bet unless it was some
online company. im going to put $100 on trout to decision canelo
rarely bookies fuk up but they fukd up on rigondeaux now there gonna fuk up on trout

As a serial troller myself, I'm ashamed I did not pick up on it.

I could not disagree more about Andre Ward. I believe he is the best fighter on the planet right now. Floyd is in his league, but it's too early to put Rigo there. Although I think he is on the cusp.
I agree about Rigo and Trout being grossly overlooked and underestimated. Trout may end up being a two handed Winky Wright.
Still not sold on Canelo. This is his first real fight. We shall see.

ward is not a fighter that thinks for himself he needs someone to tell him what to do
if you cant make it up as you go along your not on the same league as both
think of a fighter as a tool box does he have all the tools to take on any job
he is a decent fighter who knows "boxing"
i put him in the category with spadafora and hopkins people who know "boxing"
cinnamon buns and chavez jr are a disgrace to mexican boxing
and whats weird is they fight at 160+ which is strange for mexicans
because they are a small race and to better below 147

Your comments about Hopkins and Ward and even mentioning them in the same breath as Spadafora means your either the greatest troll on earth or boxing-retarded.

not in terms of achievements were talking about skills
those 3 understand boxing fundementals and have it mastered
you might give ward an edge because he knows how to fight on the inside but other than that there almost equal

you know the fight in taking place in texas right??
-
Ward is a gold medalist, I believe he hasn't lost since he was 12. He has speed, defense, controls the distance etc. He's a great boxer. Look at the guys he's beaten, he might be the best fighter right now. And don't put money on Trout lol...Canelo makes it close, he wins. He's the next cash cow of boxing, he can't afford a loss.
-
That was a great fight. The venue stunk. If you had a front row seat in Radio city music hall you were a mile away. That crowd wasn't filled with fight fans because if you are into boxing that was amazing boxing by that Cuban.
At that weight class I don't think he can be beat. They wanted Donaire to win but they couldn't figure out a way to steal the fight. Those judges had the fight way to close in there scoring. Donaire won one round. Even the hit numbers per round was against Donaire both in power shots and connections.
