If you have 2 glass of wine and  smoke a fat joint before bed you will sleep like a baby, better than  any sleeping  pill

Yes wine is fine but personally I leave weed and other drugs for hippies.

Wine, good piece of Mozart, Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky in background... ultimate relaxation.

I do not understand the stereotype on weed when all it does is relaxes you.

I've heard people go on about different kinds of weed, indica and sativa.

I'm guessing I've only ever smoked indica weed, since after a few joints I get lost in my own head, can feel a bit anxious and don't want to do anything...

People say sativa makes you energetic and focused? Would love to try it...I've read indica grows better indoors, which is why I'm guessing its all I've ever smoked!

I've heard all the same stuff but I doubt its true. Like how people say they get a different buzz from different sorts of alcohol. I'm leaning more towards total thc content will affect your buzz and how your brain reacts to it.

I admit I'm most likely affected by the heavy propaganda about it.
Plus here the typical smoker is long haired "artist type" studying philosophy at uni for the 10th year... gives stuff very negative image among us conservatives.

Apparently, one doesn't get good rest with wine, it inhibits you from gettin that good REM sleep.

Weed doesn't relax me at all. It causes my heart to pound and extreme anxiety.

ahha yeah ...it does increase heart rate. At one point the shit would just depress me instead of making me feel good. It's not for everyone.

The whole "pot is for losers" thing is some bullshit propaganda. Weed is such a harmless druog, so they portrayed weed users as losers just to find an angle to make it seem bad. Also a lot of it is also based on redneck stereotypes about "liberals" and hippies.

Most potheads I know are actually extremely intellectual and love to get creative. Most of them work and are ambitious. Most of them think outside the box and are enterprising.

Some people do smoke way too much, and they just sit around zoning out all day. But people with addictive tendencies will overuse anything. Just look at all the obese people who abuse food.

I have smoked weed only a couple of times, being a laid back person it just puts me to sleep. In discovery I have noticed it works for hyper people.

and you just went for the "intellectual" stereotype...the whole weed is the drug of choice for "enlightened" people was born from the 60s hippies.
And take a look at them now---either they are stamping their feet that the government wants to take away their "rights", or they are stamping their feet that the government is too "liberal".
Weed is not for losers, it just happens that losers gravitate to weed...and other drugs.

Hit the nail on the head. I just don't even talk to pot smokers outside of a small circle of friends and other growers. It can be enjoyed without being flaunted. It's definitely not for everyone, but I'd encourage people to give it a shot and to be objective and open. And don't smoke too much either. A single puff still gets me stoned after a decade of puffing. People think you need to smoke a cannon by yourself, but you'll just get a racing heartbeat and paranoia.

Hippies are an extreme example. Hippies usually smoke very heavily and do tons of other drugs. They are the ones who go deep into the drugs.

A better example would be the millions of clean cut "normal" folks who smoke daily. Lots of potheads walk around in suit and tie. Lots of people smoke pot who you would never suspect.

You are being ignorant to use the hippie example.

Heavy weed smokers, aka micro biotic intellectuals, tend to side with delusion - joining university and leaving with an open wound for an asshole.
If one can control himself and weed doesn't cause  mental angst then it may bring an additional layer of quality to your life.

The best sleep aid is sleep deprivation. Stay up for 48hrs straight aided by stimulants, and i assure you the best sleep of your life. Just make sure to buy a couple of really loud alarm clocks to get up for work.

Wine is gross.
Beer is good if it's only one or two units, getting drunk on beer is an uncomfortable commitment.
Hard liquor, efficient as a gun.

Problem is, alcohol knocks you out, but dehydrates you, and you tend to wake up earlier than expected. Plus it's calorically dense.

Weed can make your thoughts race, making it difficult to fall asleep, unless you smoke yourself silly, but then that can bring on paranoia, and panic attacks.

Another solution is to intentionally sleep 5-6hrs/night, so you're always some what sleep deprived, but functional. Catch up on the weekends if you can.

...or kill yourself, homo.  >:(

I can't wait to smoke weed again. I really like to have the option to abuse my body as I see fit, and that adds into the flavor of both alcohol and weed.

I love the weed paranoia. After you experience I  enough you learn how to roll with it. It really isn't paranoia, it's just a minor psychedelic experience.

If you can't handle it, go back and play with your barbis. Real men just push through it and overcome it.

If you think weed paranoia is bad. You should never do hallucinogenics. Those things will make you so "paranoid" your head will be about to explode.
