As anybody and everybody of consequence bails out of Getbig, these formerly ignored, boring, mediocre at best losers are enjoying some attention for a change. Shizzo81 is letting it go to his head, not realizing most here think he's an asshole. Ekul is another milquetoast who is posting a mile a minute, attempting to fill the void guys like WOOO, Groink, Squad, Wiggs left. Many more will leave Getbig if the quality posters don't return.

You mean milquetoast. And that's the first time anyone has ever accused me of being timid or submissive. And I actually prefer to remain disliked and rather ignored. I find it disconcerting that people are starting to include my name in thread titles. I may have to lay low for awhile. I prefer anonymity, and I must be doing something wrong to have found myself under a spotlight. So in conclusion, I also hope those you consider somebodies return soon to Getbig.

It goes against my alpha male ego to pine for any of the past posters. If getbig sucks now who's fault is that? Getbig is what *we* make it and if it sucks, maybe *we* aren't funny, or interesting enough to carry the torch... kind of a sad admission really.. So stop whining about the old days and pick yourself up by the boot straps and start making GB what you want it to be!!! Are you with me?!??
On a serious note, one suggestion I would make to Ron and the moderators is to be way less tolerant of obvious gimmicks who start out their posting career with things like "I heard Alicia Keys farts a lot".. I mean come on... do we really have to put up with upteen million threads by such an intellect? Weak annoying gimmicks (any gimmick for that matter) ought to be weeded out as soon as it's obvious what they are..

Groink did not leave.
A few individuals decided to start threatening his family's well being and that is/was unacceptable. Due to such actions, he took a break.
I think Groink should come back and post as himself, but that will take time.
Wooo is taking his usual hiatus from posting, he does this every few years or so and then comes back.
Wiggs has been MIA, but I am sure he has his reasons for taking a break. He can also simply send me a private message to give me an update as to what has transpired.
Squad didn't leave. I thought Squad was very entertaining. He got exposed by Alex in such a way that there was very little way to recover. They pinpointed his trailer home, had his girlfriend's full name (along with her family), threatened to call her parents etc.. Subsequently, Squad got into problems with Ron and that was that. You piss off Ron and there is nothing anyone can do about it. If it were up to me, I would let him return, but he needs to square things off with Ron first.
A lot of these disappearances stem more from threats that revolve around member/family exposure, death of members and/or job-related involvement.
That said, no one can replace those members. They each brought a lot to the table.

Groink is still posting but it isn't the same when he's semi-incognito.
There were definitely negatives to Squad posting but ultimately I think he enlivens a board like no other. I even read MuscleWeak when he posted there. In the end though, he burns his bridges with the owner of the forum he joins and then there is only one winner.

At 90ft? If I remember right it was 265# per hand, no set downs, I couldn't get the 285# more than halfway without setting them down. Then usually that meant setting it down a couple more times before getting 90'. If it helps we always used a fat grip on the handles.

I am working on that.
I am trying to get Chaos, Princess L, Butterbean, Clavin, Grant and Montague to all give it some thought and potentially see the endless possibilities of re-instituting that function.
240 gave us a really good blueprint regarding the use of the "guest" feature being limited to one day of the week.
I will bring that up once more in the near future at the moderator's forum and maybe a few of the others will reconsider giving it a try...

I think it might be a good idea to increase traffic here once in awhile, from what I remember last time it was brought up, Ron wasn't fond of the idea.
