40+ days of no meat no fish (nothing with a face) no dairy....but I only do Fridays (sometimes :-X) and I do fish....all carbs good to go (that's why our priests are FAT) and shellfish.

For Roman Catholics fish is the goto instead of meat.  Love shellfish though...oysters and shrimp.

I watched mass on russian cable tv held in Christ the Savior church, last photo in Moscow....only time I feel a little disconnected living here in the US. Worst is Christmas all the trees are laying on streets no more decorations and here we are (orthodox) having x-mas in January, sucks....doesn't feel Christmassy.

Our church is tiny 2000 sq ft with maybe 150 Russians attending midnight mass...atlanta, ga

And here is what is being built...sloooowly 2500 sq ft
