Title: say you have a really lengthy hardcore training session today
Post by: Marty Champions on May 06, 2013, 06:36:21 PM
will you have another hardcore lengthy training session the next day

or are you normally burnt out the next day

or do you do something special the day after an extroadinary training day?

how many have there training down to a science with pics to back up not only there training failures but training success

for me im finding not only do i need beens and rice and grapejuice and kale, i also need potatoes, ...

today i was 'expecting' a great workout but had not eatin a large amount of potatoes in 4 days atleast. if you were me would you suspect that is the reason why i dont have crazy energy for a hardocre training session considering im fully rested from the night before, adding that in,adds to the misery of trying to understand why i dont have that superior energy. thus it must be because of the lack of potatoes the past few days

i think your body can totally cycle out the vitamins and stuff about 2-3 days after you consume that food. you have to have the whole food because it is equipped with natural 'buffering' agents to get the nutrition into you. Thats why they say vitamins in a pill are junk because they are not sorrounded by there natural co-existing counterparts

All my training sessions are exceptional. If I feel like it won't be, I grab my stuff and leave. Simple as that. No chance of a mediocre training session. If I don't have the motivation to physically beat myself down I go home. If my will power and motivation are to weak that day to compensate for my lack of rest/diet...then I try again tomorrow. As for something special after an extraordinary training day? How 'bout another exceptional training day!

I like training. Dieting sucks.

As for food, I try to keep things as raw as safely possible. We all know it, processed is bad for you.

Many times I'll go weeks with one good work out after another!!!  Not to sound cliche.... but I find what helps me is when I eat right... and more importantly GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP.... I've found sleep to be sooo crucial to my great work outs!

7 hours minimum is key.  Less than that, and my work outs start being a bit off.

I think it was 3? Whichever one that dude Aquilles stole 1st place lying about his natural status.

When I say raw I just mean I try to avoid things that have to undergo any sort of radical changes to eat. Seeing as how I have gotten a lot lazier in regards to food as I have gotten older, I now eat a lot of rotisserie chickens and apples. I just go to the supermarket, pick up two-three chickens and go home and tear all the meat off of them and toss it in some container. Eat that for the next few days. All I try to do to my veggies/fruits is clean them. Get the dirt off or whatever. Broccoli is crunchy as hell.

<---- Click the globe for how I'm doing these days. Yeah, I still have calves a few inches bigger than my arms.

It depends. If you're dieting, you're going to feel like shit every fucking workout.

When maintaining and on steroids, you can be 100% all the fucking time, considering your body has already adapted to training.

But sometimes, even though you don't feel tired, if you have been training non stop for a while, taking a week off will make you feel like superman.
