Title: Theres a reason why there isnt any long term studies on GMO's
Post by: Marty Champions on May 20, 2013, 05:15:24 PM
you would think that food being so fucking important there would be tons of studies especially long term studies on gmo's with all that fucking tax money they rake in

theres a very good reason why there is not. and its not because they forgot to or "cant" because of some arbitrary reason

just like how there isnt mainstream commercials warning you about the dangers of heme-iron

many of the studies are just 90 days and less not enough time to show maturity of the tumors

The government does not genuinly care about people's health in the slightest. They do exactly enough to not be viewed as a unholy monster by the common man - the regular joe.

Oh they could easily ban a list of foods, preservatives, dyes and stuff that we apes never needed.

We don't even need a fraction of the food that is produced. This with nuclear energy further poisoning the soil for future generations of dirty apes.

The first thing they could and should do is be honest about why there is so much salt and sugar in everything.

Flavor. Preservation/shelf life. Oh, and it also happens to be what the brain screams for often. Both are needed for survival so its wired that way, of course it doesn't mean they both need to be coupled with additional saturated fats and excessive calories. Nothing wrong with salt and sugar otherwise.

The craving for salt is caused by a lack of minerals in foods.  Lack of minerals in foods is caused by chemical soaked farmlands.  GMO's are made by Monsanto, the chemical company.

The gov cares only about taxing not protecting. That said I don't see people dying all over the place from GMOs. If you've ever seen the hormones/meds given to beef and poultry you wouldn't care about some gene altering vegetables.. Not that I think there's anything wrong with the hormones but the antibiotics to the poultry kinda concerns me about creating a mutant type virus.

Arguably, you do see people dying, slow deaths, cancer + other illnesses.

Preservation or "shelf life" is in no way natural and the means to conserve food is not ideal for the body.

Sugar and salt is not flavor, really it is the opposite if you think about it twice.

If you eat a lot of salt and sugar you can't determine "real" taste anymore. A numbing of the taste buds. Have you tried going off and only eating very low sugar and salt diet you'd know this. I suggest you try.

"Nothing wrong with salt and sugar otherwise."

Sugar is at the core of unhealthy eating all across the world! Pure sugar is poison to your system, just because the brain screams for it like you would cocaine after continuous usage, does not mean it is good for you. That is a no brainer.

OMFFFG dumbest post I have ever read.

Yes, lets bake a cake without sugar and frost it without adding any either.  Lets see how good that tastes.
