As for road tax, I pay a bloody ton of it each year for 2 cars, but I still like to enjoy using my road bike to keep fit and enjoy the scenery. Road tax in the uk has nothing to do with roads, but is a tax on CO2 emissions.

So true. Who gives a shit if the guy riding was hurt. Is his bike ok. First thing when I crash or someone I am riding with ask is you bike ok?
