Title: do they get a steroid from a plant extract?

Plant sterols. They receive a rating of "mehhh" as far as actual anabolic effect.

Hahahaha, that was a good joke. I believe they use the phytosterols from Mexican wild yam as the substrate to convert into all different steroids. Anabolic, not anti-inflammatory ones.

Yep....although plant sterols are excellent for lowering cholesterol in the body
