Its hard to define what you mean when you use the term "love."
I dated a woman for 3-4 years in my early twenties. I thought it was love, but I doubt it was true love.
Up until this point, I can honestly say that I do not believe I have ever been in love.

Men are more compassionate and romantic than women. I would like for the concept of love to exist, but i know better not believe in such pipe dreams.
Once you get your head warped around the fact that women devoid of their beauty and sex appeal, they are useless creatures. Actually vile, and highly unstable.

Plenty of times, but at most in high school where me and this girl in my class were so into eachother... She was so fine and beautiful as well. But its just one of those things that where never ment to be, and your just stuck with the pain of never getting the chance to be together. I was also in love just under a year ago with this chick I made really good contact with. Untill she screwed me over and got back to her violent and abusive ex who 2 weeks earlier had threatened to kill her with a shotgun just right outside of her house... ::) when he got out from jail, they hooked up and she uploaded a pic of them "getting it on" on her facebook, telling me nothing about it before hand... Yeah, I think it was for the best I never met that stupid slut. Had major issues, but was cool and fine as hell...

A friend gave me a great example once: if you had a million dollars once yet you blew it all away, but then someone comes and offers you another million...would you take it? Duh!!! You would never say "oh no, I blew it once so I don't want to risk it again" bullshit...it's all an excuse when anyone says they got their heart broken and won't or can't love again. If you remember how happy the million dollars or the love made you before, you'll do it again. Second time around, you'll just be more cautious and smarter..."screw me once, shame on you...screw me twice, shame on me"

yes, great for the honeymoon period, shit when that ends and you start getting less sex and more demands.I think most couples who claim to have been in love for years have just turned in to good friends who happen to sleep in the same bed.Love is no more than a chemical reaction in the brain, like any drug when its taken away you withdraw, even if you are happier without it once the withdrawal is over, which can take months to years.
