Who the fook is Richard Jones ??The future Mr. O, that's who...
Once a promising bodybuilder. He has a very fragile physique that can be easily ruined by playing the size game.
???
Dude just couldn't keep a tight mid-section
he won the USA
what have you done?
???He did an interview recently and said that his prep/heart wasn't into it, if I recall. He stated that he will be making another come back...in the 212s
Dude just couldn't keep a tight mid-section
had striations all over his back.. tere's, ect... but that's not exactly hard to do when you're 205lbs. johnnie Jackson had the same when he turned pro.Care to elaborate?
however, johnnie never got busted and never told on anyone. can't say the same for Bitch-ard Jones.
Care to elaborate?
Didn't he start a career in Law enforcement? He was already in LE if I remember correctly. Even when he won his Pro card.

So? Anyone in the know?
I don't know...he was Shawn Ray without Shawn Ray's "me against the world" mentality. He was dabbling his feet in the water. Remember, he won his Pro Card on his first try, and didn't really "grow"...in terms of size. I don't really think he had the passion for it, and wanted to pursue a MBA and was in LE...he wasn't that focused on it. And in reality, I think for people like him bbing should be a hobby, and not a career, bbing's a poor career choice, unless you have the genetics and all the tools, but there is no healthcare, no retirement plan, no 401k, etc.
Dont start anything you dont mean to finish.... i remember when he was the craze in 03 i think before he got last place at the olympia or near enough
in various publications he stated he wasnt prepared to do certain things.. to get to the next level or be a mass monster...
why even bother start taking drugs or whatever then ??? ??? ???
that aside he had a great physique

You pay into a system in which you are lucky to have all your organs still working.

Don't know...but bbing/weight training. It gets in your blood. It's the one thing that I can say about all athletes, or fitness endeavors, weightlifting/training is very addictive, and one cannot shake that feeling, the pump, the look, or the feel of the iron. Look at Wyclef and his greased up on a motorcycle pic...and then Richard may have that "what if" feeling...that itch. He is genetically superior (in terms of shape) than most of the 212 competitors, now can he come in condition is another matter.
true.....
then why even bother coming back?
this guy seems confused...
physique wise he probably has the best shape of the current guys.... but will they allow him to beat david, flex or kevin? that's the questionIf anything, they need Richard Jones, where he goes, the women follow. If he comes in the same shape as he used to, he'll get the nod over all those guys.

The answer is very simple, because when he started rising up the amateur ranks he was not aware of what the pros do to sustain mammoth size muscles and once he was aware he tried and it was to hard on the system so he gave up.

What a shame. Dude had excellent lines and conditioning at one point.
does everyone "benefit" fom insulin usage as far size goes?I will pm you something I just found out about a pro.

Can you send me the PM too? Thanks in advance. Grant.Ok, it`s nothing bad, I will get gal to send it to you.
Maybe you guys should wait until he's inshape 1st before you say he doesn't have any abs or lost his lines. I've seen Shawn Ray, Flex, Phil guest pose in their offseason, no one was going crazy about their lines in guest posing shape

Has there ever been a moment where you would "go crazy" about someone's lines though?absolutely, Flex, Shawn, Francis Benefatto ??? Even if preffer mass monsters you had to appreciate their physique
I will pm you something I just found out about a pro.I would like to read it also.

I cannot understand how they tolerate the insane stress on the mind and body
Trust me the discomfort and the struggle at that level is astronomical. No shame in hanging it up for this reason.
Trust me I would try and take what some mega doser take if I had a shot but the truth is I could not take that amount, my system could not take it, the discomfort would be unbearable, you have to be a genetic freak to withstand the chemicals, it is not easy.
