Title: how many pairs of shoes are enough for fitness?
Post by: JediTerminator on June 22, 2013, 08:01:25 PM
I got a pair of nike free's for running

Jordans for every day use

Timberlands for winter/rain walking

should I get another pair of Jordans so I can be swagged out? or just wear my 1 pair until they are beat to shit and use the $150 to invest into my savings?

i'm not at otomix level. my big 3 suck balls so hard. I just need regular nice looking shoes. or I can hibernate like a bear for a 2 years training in sweats and come back with a complete package that nobody will notice or even know who I am.

Only time anyone will see my shoes is when i'm doing pullups. I don't hang out anywhere bright enough for my shoes to be seen. I just find Jordans to be very comfortable, as well as fashionable.

Nike for basketball

Columbia Sportswear for the gym

Danner boots for hiking. Several pair depending on season, weather and activity.

2.  Rotate between pairs, and you'll be good for a long time.  I alternate b/w pairs of New Balance Minimus.  Great shoe for lifting/cross-training.

Bare feet for gym. Crapass sneaks for outdoor conditioning.

Just say "no" to those weird toe shoes.

Hard soled shoes for lifting -

High heeled -

Mid heeled -

or

Flat -

Your choice depending on how you lift, but a good hard soled shoe makes a difference for most people.
