The cost was approximately $50K.

They put the new kidney in, left the 2 already there. Apparently, the hospital also mercilessly stiffed him once he was in there. He could barely get the attention of a nurse without putting his hand in his pocket.

Doesn't bear thinking about where that kidney came from.
