The jig president and his ilk want the American people stoned all the time. Hence the legitimizing of marijuana in all levels of media. Go ahead and toke. I'll remain sober as a judge and keep creating wealth while you people are stoned on the sofa stuffing your fat faces with Pringles getting the crumbs all over your Fruit Of The Loom t-shirts.

Judges are usually very filthy hypocritical people.

Well, because they are easy to manipulate.

Don't buy into the stereo types. There are plenty of regularly functioning people who get stoned daily. My cousin is a lawyer, who worked 70+ hour weeks and is successful...smokes all the time.
If they legalized weed throughout the country, the taxes would pay for health care for all. Very easy concept...but they'll tax it and allocate it to defense or something useless. What was our defense budget back in 2001? ::)

It's an addiction, as you said "smokes weed all the time".
And therein lies the problem. Alcohol is worse than weed, but we have a HUGE drug addiction/dependency in this country. Along with a huge alcohol problem. So, are the politicians trying to legalize weed for our benefit, or for the monetary benefit, with other sinister means? As in, people who are stoned, are less likely to pay attention to other bills that get passed. When everybody is feeling high and having a good time, they never notice the robber in the background. They never notice the thief. To me, it's just another way in this bad economy to make money and to take advantage of people by playing the good faith card.

Cigarettes and alcohol legal, marijuana illegal... pretty damn stupid if you ask me

It's the crime that comes with weed...and there are weed related deaths...resulting from drug dealing.
I think weed should be legal, I just don't think that the politicians have our best interests at heart.

What crime(s) comes from weed use?
I ask, because I do not know. I haven't found any literature regarding that, but I could be wrong.

He's talking about impeding traffic. It's well known that pot smokers drive 40 mph in a 65mph. Pot smokers also hold up the line at a drive through..having a hard time making up their minds, then ordering so much it backs up the line.
-
Once Uncle Sam finds a way to tax it, weed will be legalized overnight.
-
The conundrum is that it is still a federal offense, even if some states have legalization.

I once got so licked from smoking about 1/8 of skunk (3.6g) I thought that an alien entity had dived up my penis hole while I was taking a piss. I spent the rest of the night in a paranoid frenzy trying to coax it out so I could grab it and pull it out of me and ask questions.
I was 17.
;D :-\

the argument they use in the uk is that if alcohol and tobacco were introduced now they would be banned
it also gives them an excuse to tax them very heavily
hypocrits

I have no problem with people using it, but I hate when they smoke it on the street, which is pretty common here in the Netherlands :-X

As a police officer how do you check if someone is driving while way too damn high?

gird up your loins and be watchful and be sober, looking forth for the coming of the Son of Man, for he cometh in an hour you think not

Shut your fucking face you colorless, skinny, little cuckold. No one gives a fuck what you think here. And on that note, I'm gonna take a toke.

There isn't anything to detect THC levels in the blood of a driver. The most they can do (I presume) is base it on smell, but that doesn't detract from the potential of it being the passenger next to the driver or even the location in which the driver was previously in where there might have been generous marijuana use.
That said, unless the driver is swerving in the road, it would be very difficult to tell.
Either way, I wouldn't be able to tell you with certainty, as I am not part of law enforcement. I wonder if that same test employed for drunk drivers (walk the straight line) can be employed for those under the influence of marijuana?

Evidently you take exception to what I think. However, your abysmal life precludes me from paying much notice.

This. Alcohol and tobacco need to be processed so its easier for the gov to tax before you have a finished product but not with pot.
-
Have yet to read all of the above could it be because the government can control the use and production of alcohol and cigarettes for tax purposes but would be unable to o so with marijuana whereby we could all grow our own in little pots in the attic?
And maybe bigger pots for distribution purposes?

if anything people will become more alert to what is happening around them

The drug dealing...the handgun charges. Where there is drug dealing there are guns.
The smuggling of weed from certain places (The Caribbean) into the US. It's a whole web.
