x2

Although I think this is actually just proof of how great a movie it is.  I wouldn't say he's "bad" in it in an absolute sense.

I read the book this movie was based on.  The movie is one of my favorites. I had read that he exaggerated his involvement.

Liota was given a gift with this movie, he would never get a role as good as that again.
Peaked way too soon.

several years ago a lad i knew from the isle of man who was living in liverpool and a well known liverpool gentleman found out henry was doing as book tour of england.

we booked him to do a talk at everton fc's goodison park. it was mine and one others job to look after the tee total hill.

over a couple of days henry did an ounce of beak and many litres of vodka. he also kept leaving the hotel we had him holed up in and visiting brass houses and strip clubs without a penny.

he was a fucking shambles

when it came to the talk he did a silly amount of coke and couldn't focus

first question was 'henry how does it feel to be a fucking grass. he mumbled something incoherent and stared into the distance as a mate of ours saved the night-

we all made money that night but henry was laughable

the fact he got even close to being an associate with 'da mob' shows they were equally fucking inbred idiot.s

you only have to look at joseph pistone to see how fucking imbecilic they are. and they ALL grass. every fucking one of them. omerta died in the 30's.

hill was one of the least intimidating people i have ever met- however like most 'wiseguys' get a load of coke in him and who knows.....

great use of the word beak

the guy is a mess if you look at his life story on youtube

the guys on drugs never finish first

the smart gangsters move into property later on in life and stop snorting their money away

much as i don't like him cocky never touched even half a g

he did ok out of it

but now as you know they go after the money

the 'f's in lpool just got put away and the OB caught them with nothing other than a money trail and some phone calls.

the graft isn't worth it anymore

If you read about a lot of the big time gangsters most of them have spent over half their lives behind bars.

A guy named Frank Mitchell who was a supposed enforcer for the Krays (they had him killed later) only spent about a year outside prison and borstals from being 16 to 37.
I really dont know how they get a reputation , guy wasnt on the outside long enough to do that much at all.

most are complete bullying myths.

two bob

the lads running the graft get done for tax evasion and thats the lot.

there is one in lpool 'PG' who has been doing it for years- they found 3 mill in his garden - tried to get him for tax evasion - he sued them and got his money back. the lpool ob said 'he is simply too wealthy to go after'.

the majority though are idiots who will either end up in nick or in the morgue. look at frenchy for fucks sake?

this

some of my guys are in the game on the fringes for pocket money

the mobile phone killed the business you leave an audit trail everywhere you go now

and its much harder to bury the money cause if they can prove a link they will take your shit

you are better running security and going legit
